Syd is the founder of Explain the Asterisk, a policy advocacy organization formed in 2018. She has her Master of Social Work and has been working in the interpersonal violence prevention for 8 years. Syd is a sexual assault survivor and is extremely passionate about using her lived experience to advocate for change.
